NW Run & Ride Group Training

  

Do you have a love for cycling and want to increase your speed and endurance? Northwest’s cycling group is the place for you! We offer 5 outdoor cycling classes each week to fit almost anyone’s schedule. Each class will focus on a different element of training with the goal of increased speed and endurance.

 

Northwest Fitness Cycling Group Schedule:

Monday and Wednesday 7 p.m.

Friday 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Saturday: 10 a.m.

 

All rides Monday through Thursday start and end at Northwest Fitness, and are an hour long.  Each ride consists of either an interval, hill, or pace workout. Interval rides include periods of high intensity, maximum effort cycling broken up with equal amounts of recovery riding at a slow pace. Hill rides are very similar to interval rides with the high intensity segments being a hill climb. Pace rides will be at or near race speeds with short rest periods of slower riding. Longer rides are held on Friday and Saturday.

 

These rides also meet at Northwest and then we have the option load up and travel just outside the city to take advantage of the wonderful routes in more rural areas. Transportation is provided for destination rides and bike storage can be arranged, making Northwest’s cycle group a hassle free option for you to get out there and ride.

 

Northwest Cycling Group is a complimentary service for those receiving one-on-one training or who participate in group classes. It is also available on a drop basis for $10 per group ride.
